Patient Testimonials

  • I cannot say enough of H2 Orthopedic Therapy Center! From day one I found completely welcomed and at home by the entire staff. I suffer from lower back pain and have been seeing a chiropractor for 4 years. My Doctor gave me a prescription for Physical Therapy with H2 Orthopedic Aquatic Therapy for February through April. As a new patient, I received an excellent professional evaluation of my back pain from Stefan and excellent individual care from the entire staff (Michelle, Allison, Andy) throughout
these past months. In mid-March and April, I had to cancel my in-office appointments due to the Covid19 Virus. To my surprise, they offered Telehealth online zoom visits and I was able to continue with my therapy. Larry, my Therapist through Telehealth calls was great and thorough with all my visits. He helped me to strengthen my back through a variety of core exercises.

Because of the thorough care I have received these past couple of weeks, I have not felt the need to visit my Chiropractor. Larry has taught me how to maintain my back strength daily with core exercises that will help me stay healthy and fit for life.

I am forever grateful to Larry and the entire staff at H2 Orthopedic Therapy Center for their dedication, kindness, and sincere caring attitude toward myself and all patients. I highly recommend H2 Orthopedic Aquatic Therapy for anyone needing Physical Therapy! You will be well taken care of, I guarantee it! So very grateful!

  • I am pleased to recommend H2Orthopedic. Over the past ten years, from the original aqua therapy after back surgery through multiple joint replacements, I have always received the expert care that enabled me to resume regular activities. I have watched H2Orthopedic grow through the years but the same spirit of kindness, good humor, and personal attention continues. Thank you, Larry

  • Larry and the team at H2Orthopedic are not only surpassing typical standards of care; they are establishing new ones. After an 18 month quest to heal a shoulder injury I “accidentally” found H2Orthopedic during a random internet search for aquatic therapy. By the end of my first session, I knew I’d struck gold. Larry’s commitment to superlative client care combined with extraordinary knowledge and skill has been game-changing for me. His team matches that care and commitment with focused, one-on-one sessions that are tailored to the clients’ needs. Mine is unquestionably a complex case and Larry and Stefan have met the challenge with encouragement and consistent precision. The entire staff brings an energy of care and positivity to treatment and seems to have an innate understanding of the power of seeing clients as resourceful and whole even as we are navigating significant challenges. In a matter of a few weeks, my range of motion and pain have significantly improved, and I feel my body awakening and unwinding in a way that eluded me for a long time. I’ve been a full-time practitioner of healing arts for over 20 years and have been fortunate to both train with and be a client of some of the great master healers of the western world. I have a very high bar on what excellence looks like and am not often genuinely wowed. These guys have managed to do just that.

  • H2Orthopedics not only got me strong and free from pain, they changed my life!

No matter what your age, if you have an injury or are recovering from surgery, I cannot impress upon you enough the benefits you will experience with H2Orthopedic!

If you have never experienced Aquatic Physical Therapy, you are in for one of the most amazing experiences of your life!

When I found H2Orthopedic Aquatic Physical Therapy, I knew I was entering a whole new journey into my recovery, but what I didn’t know was that part of this journey was also going to give me my life back!

I have had 3 lumbar/sacral fusions in the last 3 years.  The first 2 failed and I am now recovering from the 3rd, after 11 and 1/2 hours of surgery removing and replacing all the failed hardware.  I did “on land” physical therapy after the first 2 fusions, with minimal results. The muscles in my body had atrophied so badly from years of bed rest that I wasn’t sure I would ever recover from the latest fusion.  I am so grateful my latest surgeon ordered Aquatic Physical Therapy. I had been told for years that getting in the water after an injury/surgery is the best and safest way to recover. Well, I’m here to tell you that is the absolute truth!!

I called H2O for a consultation and spoke with Lanae. I explained to her my situation and that I had PTSD and severe Agoraphobia.  She was so personable, compassionate and understanding that Lanae was the reason I booked the appointment. First impressions are everything, right?  Larry Lindley, the owner, actually opened on a Saturday so I could get my consultation as soon as possible. So, I took my first step and a big leap of faith, got in my car, and drove for the first time in 2 years to meet with Larry. That in itself was a miracle for me and it was the beginning of the end of my Agoraphobia!

At the time I was 3 months post-surgery.  I couldn’t sit, stand up straight or walk without pain and had to use a walker or cane to get around. I also had been bed ridden for 2 years prior to my latest surgery. For someone like me who has been athletic all my life it was like a prison sentence stuck in isolation in my own body.

By the time I got to the clinic I was in an all-consuming anxiety attack. But Larry won me over immediately! He was amazing!  Not only was he very professional but he was funny in a gentle, good humored way and helped calm my anxiety attacks.  He was very professional, detailed and informative during my consultation. When he took me on a tour of the clinic (I almost cried when I saw the pool, I was so excited) and by the time I left I could not wait to get back to get started!

I returned to H2O the following Monday to find a very busy physical therapy clinic. Every person there, including staff and patients, was having lively conversations, laughing and thoroughly enjoying themselves all the while everyone was still having 100% of their PT’s attention on their physical therapy treatment.  It was a 180 turn from any other PT clinic I had been to!  It truly felt like they were one big happy family!  And I was about to become part of that family!  For someone with my disabilities there are no words that could explain what that meant to me.

The first week of treatment Larry worked with me hands on with gentle movements and exercises to help with range of motion and to get my broken, weak body moving. By the next week I was INTO THE POOL!!!

If you have never experienced aquatic physical therapy, you are in for one of the most amazing experiences of your life! The pool is kept at a very warm but comfortable temperature, kind of like a jacuzzi temp and your body immediately feels more relaxed and mobile.  It’s kept very clean as well.

Larry started me off slowly my first week working on my form and how to hold my body when I do the exercises in the pool, making sure I was not going to aggravate my back. After a week of running me through different movements, equipment and strengthening I was hooked, line and sinker. I could feel my body getting stronger right away and without pain!

I was then turned over to Stefan who is highly educated with a doctorate in physical therapy and a special interest in neurological conditions. Stephen has been working with me for the last few months and is an amazing source of information. He has worked diligently with me 3 times a week in the pool with an assortment of exercises and tools they use for strengthening in the water.  If I have any kind of set- back, Stephen is positive and very caring in treating the source of the pain and getting me back in the pool a.s.a.p.

I never in my wildest dreams thought I could not wait to leave my home, get in my car and drive to physical therapy 3 times a week. However, H2Othopedics and their amazing staff had me cane free after a week. Have me feeling stronger every day, in less pain and last, but for me certainly, not least they were able to cure me of my Agoraphobia!

Thank you everyone at H2Othopedics; Larry, Stefan, Lanae and Amy for bringing me back to life.  You are my healing family and I will be eternally grateful to have found you and look forward to a brighter, pain free life with you all.

  • For the last 7 or 8 years, like many others getting on in years, I’ve found myself aging not quite as gracefully as I’d hoped for, primarily due to now inoperable back problems. After several years of physical therapy at other Orange County physical therapy locations, my pain management doctor suggested giving H20rthopedic a try. Looking over their website, the aquatic aspect looked especially interesting in that having had aquatic therapy in the past, it kept me mobile but had no negative effect physically as the pressure on my spine was kept at a minimum. Unfortunately, my previous aquatic therapy sessions took place in what could best be described as a classroom like pool setting with, at times, 8 to 10 in attendance. Not so at H2Orthopedic in that each aqua therapy session is done one on one in a HEATED pool, designed specifically for physical therapy, thus making your session something to look forward to rather than dread. I’ve now been using them for several months now and the staff is outstanding managed by Stefan and Larry. Michelle and Carissa, the main aquatic staff are a delight to work with but just as important, they do push and encourage you but never to the point of unnecessary pain. Btw, no one asked me to give this glowing review. Rather, I just want to give credit where credit is due.

  • During my time with H2Orthopedic has been a very positive one. I’ve worked with all the therapists there and received competent and proficient therapy from each one.

  • The care here is excellent, thanks to H2O Orthopedic I was cured of my chronic shoulder pain that I had for 5 years

  • I suffer from CRPS and I’m pleased to finally find a place that is knowledgeable about my condition. I appreciate the detailed attention to my needs each time I come in. I highly recommend H2Orthopedic.

  • Excellent staff and well organized! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a physical therapist.  They go above and beyond in helping their clients.

  • If you want the best Physical Therapists out there, here’s the place. They are 1 on 1 with you, they really do care about you, and make sure you’re doing the exercise correctly. Other places I’ve gone to they tell you to do this or that then walk away and say “let me know when you’re done”. Not here. All the staff is eager to help, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and highly trained. The place is small and that’s great, you don’t have your therapist-run around to several patients in at a time, here they never leave your side. Very very caring staff. Absolutely highly recommend them all.

  • Larry and Jackie have been amazing. I have broken almost every bone in my body at one time or another which also means I have been to many many Physical Therapy places.

H2Orthopedics are the only reason I can walk and able to go back to work. With all of my multiple ortho surgeries, it is difficult to try and rehab the regular way.  Nine knee surgeries, back surgery and assorted hand, arm, jaw surgeries has left me arthritic and lots of metal. I was blown away at how much I improved with the 93degree pool.  Before coming here, I couldn’t sit on a bike or pedal because of the back and knee pain but now with Larry able to break down adhesions and stretching on land and Jackie increasing my range of motion and muscle endurance as the warm water relaxes my joints. My body feels and functions so much better on PT days.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and non-threatening with the focus of rehabbing without having more pain than what you walk in with.
I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Larry and Jackie, I would be in a wheelchair and massive meds, and instead, I am back to work and able to enjoy life again. I can’t thank them enough!

If you hurt..Check H2Orthpedics out.. You will not be disappointed!!

  • Larry is the best!! Been coming here for over 15 years! Being an athlete with major injuries, he is a straight-up Shaman with healing powers.

    - Austin M.
  • I have been going to H2O for 5 months, walking in the pool, and feeling great. Larry is as committed as 1st day and pushes each session. Very Pleased with progress and my coach.

  • After a broken leg and fractured foot, I was referred to H2Orthopedics in Laguna Hills by another physical therapist. I was impressed with the staff and facilities on the first visit. Physical therapists Larry Lindley (business owner) and Jackie Jennings are phenomenal. They are highly skilled and knowledgeable, providing the attention needed for my mobility challenges (the result of multiple sclerosis).

I have benefitted from the aquatic therapy. With the help of Larry and Jackie, I transfer from my wheelchair to the pool lift. The indoor pool is heated to 92 degrees. The warmth coupled with the buoyancy of my body creates an exhilarating experience. Sessions start with Larry stretching my feet and legs, while seated on the lift in the water. Using floatation devices other exercises are performed. Each visit a variety of exercises are done and the improvement in overall health has been inspirational.

At other times, I have used the H2Orthopedics gym. On one occasion I arrived with a painful right shoulder. Jackie worked on my arm, shoulder and neck. The pain was alleviated and I received instruction on exercises that are done at home. Another time Larry offered outstanding advice how to sit on my wheelchair. Prior to his  observation, my ability to sit was limited. Now, I am comfortable with better posture for many more hours.

My favorite part of physical therapy is the human connection. Larry and Jackie are extremely personable and they provide an environment of professional merriment. After so many years of coping with chronic illness this has been a joyful experience. The sessions are fun and I look forward to each visit. Returning home I have a sense of euphoria. With admiration and appreciation, I offer H2Orthopedics my highest praise and endorsement.

  • Over the last 2.5 months, I have seen 4 physical therapists at H2O. Each therapist was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They work with you 1 on 1, teaching the correct way to stretch and exercise so you can continue the program at home. As a result, I am pain-free and able to return to normal daily activities and a regular exercise routine. I highly recommend the team at H2Orhtopedic!

  • The moment I walked in I felt the fantastic vibes. Not only is the staff friendly and warm, but they also seemed thrilled to get you to the state of being you are looking for.  I had multiple problems including sciatica pain, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, and a newly implanted knee joint.  I could barely walk in.  To my amazement, they knew exactly how to treat my ailments in a timely and safe manner.  I found that within a few weeks, I was painless and amazed at my new physical abilities.  I can’t recommend H2Orthopedic enough!  Regardless of your age, this is the GO-to place for physical therapy in Orange County!

    - Wendy R.
  • All the therapists here are dedicated to the wellness of their clients. Steph is amazing, he keeps me on track and gives me paper copies of the exercises so I can do them on my own. H2Orthopedics is a one therapist to each client operation unlike so many therapy places I have been to. This place is the best!

  • I, unfortunately, have had to require physical therapy in 3 separate occasions during the last 6 years due to surgery. Fortunately, Doctor Palmer’s office gave me options for where to go. I saw that H2O therapy had a pool and I thought that would be an amazing experience, different from all the usual techniques for rehabilitation. It turned out that not only was the 93 degree pool therapeutic, I gained muscle and movement much more rapidly using the pool for exercise. The therapists, Larry and Jackie both have advanced degrees and a world of experience and compassion. I would recommend this place and people to my own child and Family. I cannot begin to express in a short review the differences, exponentially better, that this facility offers. I feel so blessed, lucky, and happy I was able to have my physical therapy at H2O. It’s so much better than any facility I have used for my rehabilitation I wish there was a separate classification because this facility is in a class by themselves.

  • I was referred to H2Orthopedics by my doctor because I had been falling and was very unstable while walking.  I have osteoarthritis head to foot and my knees and hips are especially painful.  To be honest I wasn’t expecting anything very positive out of this therapy as my experience at several other facilities in the past wasn’t very good.
My first appoint Larry gave me a tour of the facility.  I was impressed with how clean everything was.  Larry started by assessing my muscle movements.  He determined that I was extremely “tight” and the entire session he worked on stretching my legs.  For the next several weeks I was introduced to the various pool exercises.  The therapist, Jackie, was very attentive and gave me progressive workouts that built my confidence and strengthened my legs.  I received complete and individual attention that was exactly what I needed for the hip and knee pain that was so severe it would wake me up at night.  Jackie was very helpful in giving me instruction on the right way to walk, sit in a chair, getting up from a chair, getting into and out of a car etc.
It has been two months now and I can sleep through the night without waking up in pain.  I actually look forward to my treatments as they make me feel very comfortable there and I can say enough about Larry and Jackie.  I went in using a cane and walker and now feel confident walking without either.  The variety of exercises has all worked to relieve much of my pain although it will never totally go away it has been greatly reduced.  I feel that she is proud of me and truly cares for my wellbeing and wants me to stay this way.

  • I have had the opportunity to rehab both shoulders with Larry Lindley (owner) and Jackie at H2Orthopedic after Dr. Scott Graham rotator cuff surgery. Nobody looks forward to surgery. Before the first one, I thought my shoulder would never be 100% again. After three phases of PT rehab with these guys, I am living proof that a good surgeon plus excellent PT equals full range of motion, increased strength and most importantly NO chronic pain. Larry and Jackie have magic hands and know their stuff. Thank you for getting me back on my bicycle, dirt bike and wakeboard.

    - Jan P.
  • I have Parkinson’s disease, a movement disorder that makes it difficult to stand, walk, and use my hands. I have been going to H2Orthopedic for aquatic physical therapy for more than a year. Physical therapist and owner, Larry Lindley, has been teaching me to use the water as a tool for toning my leg muscles, strengthening my core, and building stronger arms.  The water’s buoyancy makes it easier to stand and walk than on land. In turn, the water exercises give me more strength for my activities of daily living.

Humor is an important component of healing. Larry and his staff are consistently positive and encouraging.

The swimming pool is well-maintained, the water is clean and clear, and the office is cheerful.

  • This is the fourth surgery I have gone to H2 Orthopedics after for my physical therapy.  Larry and Jackie are both amazing therapists.

They know exactly what exercises to have you do at the office as well as on your own at home to get you back to your normal full activity level as soon as possible. They often provide a list of exercises with diagrams to help you when you are on your own.  I trust them completely.  They have helped me with back surgery, knee surgery, ankle surgery, broken leg, and now total bilateral knee replacement surgery.  Their facility is always clean and welcoming.  Their kind and warm spirit helps you work through the pain to attain your goals.

They are happy and friendly and make you always feel at home. They are both encouraging and extremely knowledgeable.  I am constantly impressed with the knowledge they have on how/why the human body works and the proper ways to strengthen your muscles to have your best and fastest recovery possible.  I would not go to anyone else. I recommend them 110%!!

Thanks to H2 Orthopedics I am able to go to the gym, country western dance, and walk for miles at a time.

My sincere thanks goes to Larry and Jackie.. 🙂

    - Jeanne F.
  • It’s very simple. Go to most physical therapy clinics and they do not even know you are in the lobby waiting, or they put you in a room, tell you to do a certain exercise and leave you alone…and alone…This place is different. It is small, but it even has a pool. And it has Larry the owner. I would send my mother to him, knowing she would get excellent, kind, patient, professional, appropriate treatment — and probably leave smiling as I do. This is the best one I have ever found and I have had to go to many!

    - Jim VT
  • Larry, is the best!!! I have suffered with chronic pain issues for over the last 10 years. Recently, when I have been having pain exacerbations I have had more relief from the modalities that Larry performs on me, veruses having epidural steroid injections from my pain management doctor. I have seen many physical therapists and would recommend “Larry (owner/operator/PT) for complex pain issues.
